In this book by Alan Shepperd the German Blitzkrieg campaign that led to the fall of France in May 1940 is examined. The book follows the standard formula of background to the campaign , opposing forces , opposing commanders , battle , aftermath of the battle etc. The main focus is on Rommel and the armoured breakthrough looking in detail at the Meuse and Cambrai battles [ the site of one of the first tank battles in WWI ]. A nice overview of what was to be the high point of the Blitzkrieg for Nazi Germany featuring armies like the 6th Army later of Stalingrad fame.
